PROFILE
The eMeter platform delivers the only proven, comprehensive,
enterprise-scale energy information management solution
for utility mass market and C&I deployment. Its
flexible SOA-compliant architecture extends the value
of legacy systems by integrating easily with your existing
IT infrastructure. At the same time, it delivers state-of-the-art
meter data acquisition, information management, and
utility process services.
OFFERING
Planning begins with requirements definition
and the design of core functionality to support basic
synchronization, meter data processing, and billing
activities. It also includes extensive process modeling
to enable automation, increase efficiency, and streamline
operations. We design the infrastructure with multi-path
networks and redundant hardware to ensure reliability.
And all eMeter deployments are based on industry standards,
which reduce the risk of obsolescence and vendor lock-in.
Software installation focuses on resolving
scalability, reliability, and security issues while
integrating advanced metering networks to utility CIS,
billing, and outage management systems. Installation
also includes extensive testing. We design a test plan
for integration testing, functional testing, acceptance
testing, and user operational testing. Our test system
fully duplicates the production system. eMeter is known
for successful installation of large, complex projects.
We’ve met client cost and performance goals for
numerous large-scale, multi-million meter AMI and AMIS
projects.
Software configuration ensures that
EnergyIP data repositories, applications, and GUIs satisfy
documented business rules and customizations. We fine
tune your solution to provide reliable, low-cost operations—recording,
collecting, processing, managing, and seamlessly delivering
accurate data to utility systems. We enable our clients
to combine their superior energy expertise with new,
robust data to meet their strategic objectives: lower
operating costs, reduced capital expenditures, and greater
customer satisfaction.
Project management includes scheduling,
action item tracking, and issue tracking to coordinate
AMIS implementation. The eMeter project manager tracks
commitments and actions to ensure that they are completed
in the required timeframe and that issues affecting
progress are resolved. Project schedules always identify
critical path items, activity completion percentage,
schedule slippage, and project impact. |
