Advanced provides a new integrated
CIS and Works Management solution to utilities and municipalities
Toronto, Canada. November 17, 2009
As part of its commitment to provide proven and comprehensive software solutions
to its clients, Advanced Utility Systems (Advanced) today announced a partnership
with GBA Master Series, Inc. (gbaMS). This partnership will deliver an integrated
customer information and works management solution to the utility and municipal industry.
“The integration between Advanced’s CIS Infinity and the GBA Master Series® suite
of integrated software products from gbaMS will offer utilities the depth and breadth
to address their Customer Management, Billing, Asset Management and Maintenance Management
requirements,” said Steven White, Vice-President, Research & Development for Advanced.
“By integrating our two mission critical applications we are providing one robust system
that can easily transfer information back and forth. This eliminates the duplicate entry
of information thus reducing manual work and the potential for error.”
The result of the partnership between Advanced and gbaMS represents a solution that
offers wide-ranging functionality without the need for expensive customization. As well,
both companies’ solutions are built on proven technology. Both solutions are designed
using Microsoft development tools and support SQL Server and Oracle databases.
“Advanced is pleased to announce its partnership with gbaMS, with over 200 clients
and 4000 users, they are a premier provider of proven enterprise asset management solutions,”
said Peter Fanous, General Manager for Advanced, “By being able to expand Advanced’s solution
with an asset and work management solution, this partnership enables us to provide a new and
strong offering that covers a larger footprint of utility process needs.”
“We have worked with Advanced successfully in the past and are excited to formalize
our partnership,” said Don Pinkston, President for gbaMS, “We strongly believe that this
partnership is the right fit as CIS Infinity and GBA Master Series respectively, is a
valuable complement to the other.”
Advanced already has a client - Beaufort Jasper Water & Sewer Authority (BJWSA), SC - taking a
dvantage of the integration between CIS Infinity and GBA Master Series.
