Implements Systems & Software’s Customer
Self-Service Offering
WILLSTON, VT, March 10, 2009 – Harris Computer
Systems (Harris), a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX:
CSU) is pleased to announce that SEMCO ENERGY Gas Company (SEMCO)
has implemented Systems & Software’s (S&S) customer
self-service offerings, enQuesta WebConnect and enQuesta PayConnect
to enhance overall customer satisfaction while increasing revenues.
Like many utilities, SEMCO wanted to provide their end-users with
a Customer Service Representative that was available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week. The enhanced functionality of these offerings
provide end customers with the ability to make real-time payments,
review consumption history, billing history, and utility payment
history on-line, at their leisure. In addition, customers are able
to request and schedule service requests such as a transfer and/or
disconnect of service. This reduces the number of calls coming into
the Customer Service Department thereby allowing the CSRs to focus
on finding solutions to more complicated issues. Laurie Owens, Director
