OTTAWA, ON, May 12, 2008 - The NorthStar division (Harris NorthStar) of Harris Computer Systems announced today that it was selected by Haldimand County Hydro (HCH) to deliver its customer information and billing solution for Haldimand County's electric customers.

With the signed contract, HCH moves to NorthStar CIS (customer information system) from a legacy system that had been producing bills and managing service orders there for a number of years. Haldimand County Hydro's main office is located in Caledonia, ON about 20km south of Hamilton, ON in the Niagara Peninsula. HCH delivers electricity to 20 500 customers over a network of 1665km of distribution lines.
