MILWAUKEE, WI., January 16, 2008 – Metavante (NYSE: MV), a leading provider of banking and payments technology, today announced that the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) has selected Metavante’s CSF Designer and FasTest. Metavante’s technology will enable PSE&G to significantly expand its customer communication capabilities by developing dynamic, personalized, print and Internet-enabled communications - such as bills, statements, letters, notices and direct mail - for its utility customers in New Jersey.

PSE&G is New Jersey’s largest provider of gas and electric service, servicing nearly 1.7 million gas customers and 2.1 million electric customers in more than 300 urban, suburban and rural communities, including the state’s six largest cities.

Metavante is providing a customer communication and document design solution that will integrate with PSE&G’s SAP Customer Care System (CCS). By using CSF Designer, PSE&G will create and deliver customized bills, letters, and notices on SAP’s platform, creating a unified solution for managing customer communications. FasTest adds additional efficiency by shortening the testing time of new documents.

With CSF Designer, PSE&G’s users will be able to produce and integrate customized documents with personalized customer communications through any of the standard output delivery channels, including the electronic presentment of bills and statements.
