Hendersonville Utility
District Signs With Advanced Utility Systems
HENDERSONVILLE, TN and TORONTO CANADA, July 11, 2007 -
Advanced Utility Systems Corporation (Advanced) is pleased to announce
that Hendersonville Utility District (HUD) has selected CIS Infinity®
as its customer information and billing solution for its 15,000
water and wastewater customers.
“We (Advanced) are very excited with HUD’s decision
to move forward with CIS Infinity and its add-on modules“,
comments Steve Hammond, Harris Vice President for the Advanced Business
Unit. “We are also pleased to have HUD be our first client
in the state of Tennessee.”
HUD’s implementation will include CIS Infinity Version 3.1,
built around a .NET framework, as well as the following add-on modules
that are tightly integrated with CIS Infinity.
eCARE is a web-based customer self-serve module that empowers customers
with real-time access to their account information. And with a secure
login, customers can view consumption and payment history as well
as the ability to initiate payments with a few mouse clicks.
With the implementation of Advanced’s Executive Information
System, HUD will enable senior management and key decision makers
to access critical management information including revenue information,
service order and call tracking as well as vital customer service
activity. And with the ability to drill down to the detail level,
will aid managers to better manage their business.
In order to introduce further efficiencies within HUD’s service
department, Advanced will implement, mCARE, a complete workforce
automation application that utilizes mobile and wireless technologies
to streamline and optimize the service order process. Through the
use of the web-based tool, HUD service crews will be able to receive
service orders from customer service reps and account managers electronically.
And with its two-way data flow capability field personnel, once
the service work has been completed, can send back the information
directly to CIS Infinity.
HUD and Advanced will begin over the coming weeks and expect to
complete the implementation in early 2008. Information about HUD
is available on the company’s website at www.hendutil.net.
