BROOMFIELD, CO, May 22, 2007 - Innoprise Software, Inc. today announced that the City of Louisville, Colorado, has deployed Innoprise’s CIS software.  The new application is replacing the city’s legacy CIS system. The city purchased the entire suite of enterprise software including CIS, Financials, Sales Tax and Community Development, along with hardware and implementation services. Louisville implemented the Innoprise Financial Management software in September 2006 and is in the process of implementing the Innoprise Community Development suite of applications.

The City of Louisville is a Colorado municipality with approximately 19,000 residents.  Louisville provides city services, as well as water, sewer and storm water to over 6,500 customer accounts within the boundaries of the City.

Louisville replaced their existing legacy system in order to provide users with easier access to information and the ability to generate ad-hoc reports without IT assistance.  “Getting reports out of our legacy CIS system was a hassle.  The reporting tool was too complicated for our users,” said Jodie Ferrera, Accounting Manager for the city. “We had to do a lot with the data just to be able to pull out any information and the system was not very configurable. If we needed a simple change, it could cost a lot of money for the re-programming,” added Ferrera.

As a result, Louisville deployed Innoprise CIS utilizing robust reporting, integrated workflow, and user-defined business rules that automatically manage the city’s billing and collection processes.  The Innoprise system includes a filtering capability that allows users to setup multiple selection criteria to quickly find information. Users can print or export information to Excelä with one click of the mouse.

According to Ferrera, the bill processing time will be reduced significantly because Innoprise does a lot of the checks and balances and displays them on the screen rather than it being a manual process.

“Another feature our users are enjoying is the collection work engine. Now, the system automatically runs all processes and fees based on the rules we setup,” explained

Ferrera.  As a result of the new software, Ferrera says, “We are looking forward to improving departmental efficiencies within the city.”
