All PRNewswire News: DistribuTECH 2007
SAN DIEGO, CA., February 5, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/
-- Oracle ORCL today announced that the City of Phoenix, the fifth
largest city in the United States, has selected Oracle® Utilities
Customer Care and Billing and Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce
Management to deliver even stronger customer service through its
Water Services and Public Works Departments.
For Phoenix, delivering excellent customer service requires enhanced
access to account information through multiple customer touchpoints,
which include paper and online bills, the city's Web site and its
customer call center. For continued success, the city needed to
overhaul its custom-built legacy systems, which were difficult to
maintain.
"The City of Phoenix's selection of Oracle Utilities solutions
is testimony to our ability to deliver the highest levels of functionality
and value to the utilities industry," said Quentin Grady, Vice
President of the Americas for Oracle Utilities Global Business Unit.
"We are pleased to help the City of Phoenix work toward their
goals of delivering solid customer experiences."
