Mincom Announces Acquisition
of US Utility Solution Provider Conversant
Acquisition strengthens
software solution and service capabilities to the global Utilities
industry
Denver, CO, January 5, 2007 - Mincom Limited,
the largest stand-alone Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution
provider globally, today announced it has acquired the customer
information and billing systems business of Conversant, a developer
of utility industry software solutions.
This latest acquisition reinforces Mincom’s commitment to
the Utility industry by significantly enhancing its software solution
offering and service delivery capabilities.
Conversant supplies a range of innovative software and services
to manage customer care and billing functions for utilities and
energy service providers worldwide, all aimed at improving efficiencies
and lowering costs. Its award-winning and industry recognized Customer
Information System (CIS), CustomerWatchTM, is the first 100% Java
developed and production proven CIS solution in the market. By adding
Conversant’s CIS solution, together with its specialized utility
billing solutions, Mincom is now poised to deliver an end-to-end
solution to the global utilities industry.

The management and employees of Conversant will operate as a dedicated
global utilities business unit within Mincom, focused on utility
customer care and billing solutions. Mr. Royal, will lead the new
business unit as Vice President of Utility Solutions.
