BROOMFIELD, CO - August 1, 2006. Innoprise Software, Inc. today announced that Port Orange, Florida has deployed Innoprise Software, Inc.'s Code Enforcement software to replace the city's existing legacy system. The new Innoprise Code Enforcement software will support the City of Port Orange's need for an integrated solution that will provide immediate access to the city's code infractions. Port Orange is a large metropolitan community with a population over 53,000 and an area of more than 25 square miles on the east coast of Florida near Daytona Beach.

The goal of improving the city's residential and commercial code enforcement activities resulted in the deployment of Innoprise's Community Development software. The new software includes built in workflow and office automation tools that record code infractions, allocate case numbers, and track cases until parties come into compliance. "By implementing Innoprise's Code Enforcement software, the city is one step closer to our vision of providing full-service eGovernment solutions to our citizens via a user-friendly and standard web-based interface," said Fitzgerald, City Manager.

The new software includes a sophisticated query engine, ad hoc reporting, and the ability to setup and review inspections online. If a person does not come into compliance, notice is sent to the Code Board. Required case documentation is generated by the software and attached to the case. Next, the city plans to implement Innoprise's Occupational Licenses and Permits and Inspection applications. These new applications will allow Port Orange's citizens the ability to submit, monitor and pay for Community Development requests over the web. The new software tracks every project through its approval process, supports numerous search methods for quick retrieval, and possesses the ability to print, email or send information to Microsoft Excel™. Electronic files of any type can be attached to permits, permit reviews and inspections.
