Hingham Municipal Lighting
Plant Selects Cogsdale Corporation to Implement Full ERP and Utility
Billing Solution
Charlottetown, PE, April 7, 2006 – Cogsdale
Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of another customer
in the state of Massachusetts – Hingham Municipal Lighting
Plant (HMLP). Cogsdale will provide a single-source solution for
ERP, Utility Billing and Customer Service. HMLP services approximately
12,000 electric accounts in the community of Hingham, MA.
The integrated system solution was a key factor in HMLP’s
decision. The Cogsdale Customer Service Management (CSM) and Microsoft
Dynamics™ GP solution reside on one common Microsoft SQL server
database, allowing for real-time, fully integrated data sharing
capability. The system solution effectively improves business processes
and makes real-time reporting on all customer and financial information
quick and easy.

for a solution that was fully integrated.
Cogsdale was able to demonstrate this, as well as provide us an
integration to Microsoft Office, further leveraging our investment”,

and customer satisfaction. The company maintains transmission and
distribution lines throughout Hingham and buys power to meet the
requirements of their customers.
