OTTAWA, ONTARIO, January 5, 2006 – Demonstrating the usability and power of its software, Harris Computer Systems (Harris), a leading provider in Customer Information Systems (CIS) and financial management solutions for utilities and local governments, is pleased to announce that the Watertown, SD is live on NorthStar v6.1.

Watertown upgraded its Harris solution to utilize NorthStar 6.1's reporting capabilities and enhanced data entry functionality. "Immediately upon seeing NorthStar, we knew we wanted to install it and use it. We saw right away how the design of the data entry screens would make life easier for our Customer Service team," commented Darwin Schuler, Watertown's Office Manager.

Other factors contributing to Watertown's decision were Harris' design process for modifications and the change management aspects of Pathfinder, Harris' implementation methodology. "The whole process of upgrading was well managed, and we knew where we were at any given moment. Even when small glitches arose, the Harris and Watertown teams worked through them quickly and kept the project on track," continued Mr. Schuler.
