North Penn Water Authority
(NPWA) chooses Cogsdale CSM
PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND, CANADA, August 2005 -Cogsdale
Corporation is pleased to announce that it has been chosen by the
North Penn Water Authority, located in Lansdale, PA to provide a
new enterprise resource planning and utility billing system.
In the first stage of the project, January, 2005, NPWA implemented
Microsoft Business Solutions – Great Plains financials including
General Ledger, FRx Financial Reports, Accounts Payable, Inventory,
Payroll, Fixed Assets and Project Management. The second phase of
the project will involve the installation of Great Plains-based
Cogsdale Customer Service Management, which includes Utility Billing,
Electronic Meter Reading, Service Orders, Collections, Electronic
Funds Transfer, Receivables Management, and Cashiering, expected
to begin in October, 2005.
When the project is complete, NPWA will have a fully integrated
financial management, utility billing and customer information system.
Cogsdale began the implementation
phase in January, 2005 and North Penn Water District is expected
to go live in the spring of 2006.
Dale Reichenbach, financial director for NPWA, said “We were

required to meet current and planned business needs. This is a solution,
