Dutch Tax Authority Selects SPL WorldGroup Customer Care & Billing for Its Credit and Collections Capabilities

AMSTERDAM, June 20, 2005 – SPL WorldGroup, a leading provider of Customer Care and Billing solutions, today announced that the Dutch Tax Authority has chosen SPL Customer Care & Billing solution (SPL CC&B) to manage tax collection and refund disbursement for the government’s 12 million taxpayers. The system will process more than 60 million receivables, 90 million payments and 40 million refunds annually and help standardize collection procedures.

SPL CC&B will enable the Dutch Tax Authority to implement its vision of:

  • Improved internal operational efficiency
  • Improved taxpayer compliance with government regulations
  • Reduced revenue loss due to bad debts and fraud

SPL CC&B will be the cornerstone of the Dutch Tax Authority’s “Collection Project,” an initiative to consolidate and standardize individual taxpayer data generated from over 30 separate tax systems across the country. This holistic view of the taxpayer will greatly enhance the ease with which debts, payments and refunds can be managed.
