COLCHESTER, VT, May 12, 2005 – Systems & Software, (S&S) a leading Customer Information Systems (CIS) provider for the utility industry, is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Denver Water to implement its enQuesta CIS solution.

While Denver Water’s current billing system is adequate for the basic, bi-monthly billing of its
roughly 1,000,000 customers, the system’s age—it was originally implemented in 1994—and its
limited functionality are becoming a liability. “Our customers would like us to do things like monthly billing and we'd like to be able to provide enhancements like more complex rate structures,” said Mary Price, CIS Project Manager. “S&S has a lot of experience and can bring in a system that is largely adapted to the needs of our business. It can do a lot of what our customers want right out of the box.”

With plans for a go-live date in the fourth quarter of 2006, S&S’ enQuesta solution will allow the utility to customize its CIS functionality through software configuration, as opposed to altering the programming code. This feature will allow Price’s team to implement changes on the system without burdening the IT department with programming requests.
