Montgomery Water Works & Sanitary Sewer Board Successfully Goes Live With Enquesta Web

CONNECT COLCHESTER, VT, December 3, 2004 – Systems & Software, Inc. (S&S) today announced that Montgomery Water Works & Sanitary Sewer Board (MWWSSB) has successfully gone live with enQuesta Web Connect. enQuesta Web Connect, the most recent solution offering under the enQuesta Connect family of self-service applications, allows utility customers to access and maintain their accounts on-line, conveniently and in a real time environment.

MWWSSB and S&S have been partners since 1996. MWWSSB has consistently upgraded to newer versions of S&S’ UtilitySuite CIS and FMS offerings, and they were the first S&S customer to upgrade to enQuesta, commencing in the fourth quarter, 2002. At that time, S&S President & CEO, Burt Willey, said, “The confidence that MWWSSB has had in us over the years – and to now be the first to implement enQuesta – speaks volumes. Our hope and goal is that they will continue to be a development partner, as we will continually enhance our solutions based not only on market requirements, but on the product guidance our customers provide to us.” This hope was realized again when MWWSSB elected to be the first S&S customer to implement enQuesta Web Connect.

Montgomery’s customer base of over 80,000 metered-accounts now has the ability to access their account information on-line, 24 hours a day. Users have the ability to create and update their personal profiles. They can obtain an overall account summary, view consumption history, review billing history, make e-payments, and enroll in ACH programs. In order to deliver a solution with little to no administrative burden to MWWSSB, an extensive on-line help and FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) are available to aid customers in their navigation of the site.

The benefits have been realized almost immediately. Charlene Wachs, Assistant General Manager, MWWSSB, comments, “We haven’t even formally advertised this new offering to our customers and the payments made on-line increase daily. With the implementation of this offering, utilities will only enhance overall customer satisfaction while simultaneously appreciating the benefit of single vendor support for both their CIS and Web solution.”
