Vocantas & Cogsdale Team to Provide Integrated Telephony & Customer Service Management Solutions for Utilities and Municipalities
Seamless integration between Utilities OnCall IVR and Cogsdale CSM provides consolidated, cost-effective customer communication and management system

OTTAWA, CANADA, September 3, 2004 - Vocantas Inc., a leader in the application of telephony and speech integration, and Cogsdale, a provider of customer service management solutions, announced today that they have entered into an OEM agreement. According to the terms of the agreement, Cogsdale will distribute Vocantas’ Utilities OnCall Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

Utilities OnCall will seamlessly integrate with Cogsdale’s Customer Service Management (CSM) system through a pre-built interface. The new solution provides local government and utility organizations with a cost-effective, consolidated Computer Telephony and customer management solution.

Utilities OnCall is an Interactive IVR system that addresses the specific requirements of utility companies. Designed to automate telephony interactions and reduce ongoing customer service costs, Utilities OnCall provides customers with automated access to account information, allows them to report meter readings, pay bills over the phone and more – all without agent intervention. Outbound notification capabilities inform customers of emergencies, service interruptions or overdue notices.

Cogsdale CSM serves as a billing and financial system and customer service management software that functions seamlessly with the Microsoft Business Solutions Great Plains suite of products.
