OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA, July 28, 2004 - Harris Computer Systems ("Harris"), a leading provider of customer information systems and financial management solutions, today announced it has signed an agreement to provide the Orrville Department Of Public Utilities ("Orrville Utilities") with financial transaction outsourcing solutions. Orrville Utilities provides the City of Orrville with electric, water, sewer and refuse services to over seven thousand residents within the city and surrounding areas. Under the agreement Harris will redesign the City's utility bill, assume data processing, document composition, print, insertion and mail finishing applications at a lower total cost than current in house processes.

Harris has secured large volume discounting from the leading national bill print and mail provider to utilities, KUBRA. The traditional print and mail distribution of Orrville Utilities paper-based customer bills is being handled through KUBRA’s state-of-the-art production facilities. The capabilities include document composition (data, exception and postal processing, composition and personalization) printing (distributed high-volume laser printing and document preparation), and insertion (folding and insertion, selective sourcing, and mail finishing).
