ORLANDO, FL and BEND, OR, April 12, 2004 - Innoprise Software, Inc. has been established to bring a newly developed generation of enterprise software to market. The announcement was made today by Innoprise founder and CEO Dennis Harward and marks the culmination of two years of effort to build a new standard in software for utility and local government CIS, financial management, community development and work management.

Innoprise Software includes all the assets of Avenir Systems and Government Technology Resources (GTR) with roots dating back 30 years. Avenir Systems owned the rights to the well-known Orcom Classic Customer Information and Financial Systems and had been supporting the Orcom customer base since the software was acquired in 2000. GTR developed Internet-based applications for the local government market. The name change to Innoprise is the first step in a new brand identity to more accurately embody its dramatic evolution over the past two years.

"Input from our customers, along with our own industry observations, drove our quest to replace our own legacy software, as well as the other legacy solutions that dominate the market today. Our new generation of software was built from a clean slate and is free of the limitations and bottlenecks of legacy systems," explained Harward. "We have invested significant resources in conjunction with more than 20 customers to implement the most aggressive software development program attempted in this industry. Not since my father and I founded HTE Inc. more that 23 years ago has there been such market opportunity to provide new software to utility and municipal customers."

The enterprise software suite developed by Innoprise as part of this aggressive initiative is currently being deployed at numerous customer sites and will be formally launched at the upcoming CIS Conference in Miami on May 4th.
