On-schedule and Under-budget, CIS
Infinity Goes Live at City of Bellevue
"Great client relationship"
cited as contributing factor
BELLEVUE, WA and TORONTO, CANADA; March 30, 2004 - On-schedule
and under-budget, the City of Bellevue has completed the successful
implementation of their new enterprise customer information and
billing solution, CIS Infinity™ by Advanced Utility Systems
Corporation. The City went "live" with CIS Infinity on
March 1, delivering service to 40,000 drinking water, wastewater,
storm and surface water customers.
"From the beginning, we were clear and definite about our
customer service and billing requirements" says Nav Otal, Assistant
Utilities Director, City of Bellevue. "Throughout the 10-month
conversion and implementation project, Advanced brought excellent
people to the table, and we've arrived at the end of the project
with all our requirements met."
Patricia Sorbara, President and CEO of Advanced, describes the
City's contribution to the process: "Their clarity of vision
contributed to this success. The City put forward specific business
needs, procedures and priorities, which laid the groundwork for
not only a well-managed project, but also a great client relationship."
CIS Infinity offers several benefits of particular interest to
the City, such as delivering a consolidated bill to an organization's
head office. The City can also integrate parcel management, capital
recovery charges, streetlight service, and a complex storm drainage
billing calculation, based on square footage in various drainage
intensities, into CIS Infinity. The City is also looking forward
to adding Internet bill presentment and payment in 2005.
Advanced counts the City of Bellevue as the latest in a series
of successful implementations in the Pacific Northwest, including
the City of Everett and Peninsula Light Company in Gig Harbor, Washington.
