ROCHESTER, N.Y.; November 10, 2003 - Blue Heron Consulting Corp., a management consulting and technology services firm specializing in customer care and billing solutions, today announced that it has been ranked fifth among the 2003 Rochester (N.Y.) Top 100 companies. Cited for its extraordinary growth, Blue Heron is included in the ranking for the first time after just four years in business.

The Rochester Top 100, in its 17th year, honors privately held companies for their contributions to the Greater Rochester economy. The program is co-sponsored by the Rochester Business Alliance and the Rochester office of KPMG, a worldwide accounting firm. The Rochester Top 100 ranks companies based on three years of revenue growth — this year, from 2000 through 2002. Companies must have at least $1 million in revenue for each of those years, and the rankings take into account both dollar and percentage growth. Nominations this year totaled 175.
