One Utility Expands Indus Solution to Advance Operational Excellence
Goals; Banner Advantage CIS Scaled Up to Support 2 Million Customers
ATLANTA, GA., (BUSINESS WIRE) July 15, 2003 - Indus
International Inc. IINT , a leading provider of customer and asset
management solutions, today announced that the nation's fifth largest
natural gas provider, ONEOK Inc. OKE, has signed an agreement to expand
its license for the Indus Advantage Customer Management Suite and
services. The agreement marks the third expansion of the original
agreement, signed last fiscal year, and bolsters ONEOK's continued
initiative to achieve world-class performance and enhanced customer
service to its nearly 2 million natural gas customers.
ONEOK originally selected a license for the Indus Banner Advantage
customer information systems (CIS) solution, CRM Essentials™ and
EnerLink® BillGen to replace its outdated CUSTOMER/1™ system
and help improve service levels for its customers, a combination of
Oklahoma and Kansas residential and commercial and industrial (C&I)
accounts. The company is now also replacing a second CUSTOMER/1 system
acquired through the acquisition of Southern Union's Texas Division,
which has significantly expanded its service area.
ONEOK is extending its capabilities with a robust combination of Banner,
CRM Essentials, EnerLink and Oracle 9iAS. The resulting solution will
provide ONEOK with quick and easy access to customer information via
its "Connect To Everything" (C2E) integration architecture.
In addition, EnerLink BillGen's Rate Modeling Language will allow
ONEOK to offer innovative pricing products to large C&I customers.
The contract also includes a three-year agreement for ongoing support.
