OTTAWA, ONTARIO, May 30, 2003 - Harris Computer Systems ("Harris"), a leading provider of financial management software solutions for utilities and local governments, today announced that it has purchased substantially all of the assets and assumed certain liabilities related to Manatron’s Financials Product Line ("Manatron").

As a result of the sale, Harris now owns all of the Fund Accounting, Payroll, Utility Billing and related software that Manatron had developed or acquired over the last fifteen years. Harris will immediately be responsible for the support of the more than 500 Manatron customers who are currently using these solutions. Harris now services over 1,000 customers throughout North America, the majority of which are in the United States.

In addition, virtually all members of the Manatron Financials Product Team will become employees of Harris and will continue to serve the customer base. This group of employees will further add to the depth and experience at Harris bringing the total number of employees to 95. Harris will also establish an office in Michigan to manage customer support and ongoing development of the Manatron product suites.
