FOLSOM, CA., May 01, 2003 - ea, a public-sector focused Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
consulting and hosting company, announced the extension of their hosting contract with the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA).

For the past year, ea has provided NTUA with On-Demand Services (ODS) from their suite of hosted offerings. This provides NTUA with 24x7 support on issues pertaining to their entire system, including their Financial Information System, Work Management Systems, Human Resources Management Systems, and Customer Care Systems. This support is provided for a predictable monthly fee.

satisfied with the service and support we have received. They have constantly been there with us to answer questions, resolve issues, discuss system performance, and basically be our source of
knowledge and expertise," said Joy Thompson, the SAP Administrator of NTUA.

Today, NTUA runs SAP at their headquarters and six district offices, and provides gas, electric, water, wastewater, and photovoltaic services to the Navajo Nation in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. In the quest to provide excellent service and quality products, technology has been at the forefront of their organization.

Among the components of the renewed two-year contract are:
• Implementing FERC and GASB34 reporting
• Quarterly disaster recovery testing
• Hardware upgrade to provide for faster processing and additional storage
• Database upgrade to provide for predicted growth
• Additional interfaces (e.g., Water Pumping Station, Credit/Debit Card, Pay Station, SCADA)
• New functionality (e.g., Employee Self Service, Document Imaging, Knowledge Warehouse)
