SCT Announces Software and Services
Agreement with Metropolitan Utilities District of Omaha
MALVERN, PA., April 29, 2002 - SCT (Nasdaq: SCTC), a leading
global provider of e-business solutions, has signed a multi-million
dollar agreement with Metropolitan Utilities District of Omaha,
it was announced today. The contract is for services and software
including SCT Bannerā Customer Management System (CMS), Customer
Web Access, Target+, Customer Contact System, Electronic Work Queue,
and SCT EnerLinkā BillGen. The contract also includes a ten-year
agreement for on-going support.
The contract was signed during SCT's second fiscal quarter, which
ended March 31, 2002.
Metropolitan Utilities District of Omaha selected SCT Banner software
to help improve service levels for its 200,000 gas and water customers
in the Omaha metropolitan area. With SCT solutions, the District
will be able to streamline access to account details for commercial
and residential customers through online technology resulting in
faster response times. At the same time, SCT solutions provide comprehensive
management reporting functions along with improvements in billing
accuracy and timeliness.

we have right now," said Darnell Sweeney-Evans, Metropolitan
Utilities District's customer information system project manager.
"By using SCT Banner software, we will have better online capabilities
internally, which will eventually give our customers an easier,
more efficient way to check their account information online. This
is an important first step in escalating our customer service standards."
