DAYTON, OH., March 21, 2002 - Gentrack International, a global provider of billing and customer information software for energy utilities and retailers has today announced that MxEnergy, one of the US fastest growing energy retailers, has selected GentrackTM as its Customer Information System (CIS). MxEnergy, headquartered in Stamford CT, is a provider of gas to the mass market in Illinois, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Maryland and Michigan and plans to roll out competitive energy offerings in other states as they open up to competition.

Essential to the success of MxEnergy's growth was the purchase of a scalable CIS system from a vendor who was able to rapidly tune the software to their needs but flexible enough to adapt as the market situation changed.
