SPL WorldGroup Adds New Executives
in Marketing and Strategy
MORRISTOWN, NJ., September 11, 2001 - SPL WorldGroup B.V.
(SPL), the leading provider of customer management solutions to
the global energy, water and waste management industries, has made
new appointments designed to continue to strengthen the company's
operational management. Ms. Lori Hobbs was appointed to the position
of VP, Global Marketing and Mr. Mike Harper was named as VP, Product
Strategy. Both are industry veterans that bring additional expertise
to the marketing and strategy area of SPL that is led by Mr. J.
Guerry Waters.
Ms. Hobbs, who is responsible for managing and coordinating SPL's
marketing efforts on a global basis, was previously the owner and
founder of Multi-Touch Marketing Solutions. Ms. Hobbs' company served
the strategic and marketing program needs of hardware, software,
telco and multi-media firms throughout the United States. Previously,
Ms. Hobbs had held
marketing positions at Sequent Computer Systems and for a number
of television and radio outlets.
Mr. Harper has twenty-three years of expertise in software marketing,
sales and product management with a variety of well-known US companies
including Spear Technologies, Persistence Software, Texas Instruments,
System Software Associates and others. Mr. Harper will have responsibility
for implementing and helping develop SPL's ongoing product strategy
for the company's industry leading CorDaptix customer management
product.
