PEABODY, MA., June 21, 2001 - LODESTAR Corporation today announced that Entergy is using LODESTAR's BillingExpert™ to handle daily and monthly billing for its larger commercial and industrial customers in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas.

BillingExpert enables Entergy to bill its commercial and industrial customers using complex rates and interval meter data for multiple jurisdictions. Entergy selected BillingExpert because of its flexibility, ease of integration and ability to handle any billing challenges that may arise as a result of new rules in a deregulated market, according to John Taylor, senior staff analyst at Entergy.
