ConneXt Honored as One of Washington
State’s Best Companies to Work For
SEATTLE, WA., June 15, 2001 - ConneXt, a premier developer
of billing and customer care solutions for utilities, recently placed
among the top five on Washington CEO magazine’s annual Best
Companies to Work for in Washington State list. ConneXt was ranked
number four in the mid-size company category, where companies with
100-999 employees were evaluated on such criteria as organizational
communication, leadership, and their ability to attract and retain
talent.
Consulting firm Watson Wyatt designed the survey that was distributed
state-wide to employers and completed anonymously by the employees
and corporate officers. The results were tabulated and submitted
to a panel of judges, who then ranked the companies based on the
survey results and corporate reports. Among those judging this year’s
contest were Working Wounded columnist Bob Rosner and Alexander
D. Hill, dean of the Seattle Pacific University School of Business.
ConneXt’s management received especially high marks in organizational
communication, decision-making and supervision, career development,
and employee benefits. Both employees and executives gave the overall
work environment a very favorable rating.
