Atmos Energy Signs Multi-Year ASP
Contract with Docucorp
Docucorp Will Provide Bill Format,
Print and Mail Services, Electronic Archival
DALLAS, TX., April 17, 2001 - Docucorp® International (Nasdaq:
DOCC), a leading provider of enterprise information solutions, today
announced a multi-year agreement with Atmos Energy Corporation (NYSE:
ATO) to provide application service provider (ASP) hosting for the
company's five utility companies, which produce approximately 1.2
million bills per month.
"After a lengthy review, we chose Docucorp's ASP centers to
provide bill format, print and mail services, and electronic archival
for our operating companies," said Thomas J. Pearson, Atmos
Energy's vice president of customer information and technology.
"Docucorp's Dallas ASP Center and the mirror site in Atlanta
have the capacity to handle our growing customer base in 11 states.
