Names Kathryn McKay as the New Vice President of Professional Services
TORONTO, CANADA; April 3, 2001 - Advanced Utility Systems
Corporation, a leading provider of Customer Information solutions
for the North American utility market, is pleased to announce that
Kathryn McKay has been appointed the firm's Vice President of Professional
Services. McKay will lead a unit dedicated to ensuring software
implementations, software support, training, and custom software
development to meet clients' extensive needs.

CEO of Advanced, "After the tremendous growth we experienced
in 2000 and are already seeing in 2001 the company needed an experienced
individual with expertise in directing complex software implementations.
Kathryn's understanding of the critical issues facing utilities,
and her ability to work with our customers to address these issues,
makes her the ideal person to lead the company's implementation
efforts. We are extremely pleased to have Kathryn accept this role."
Advanced is poised to announce several new clients who will begin
implementing CIS Infinity in the Second Quarter of 2001 (announcements
forthcoming), as well as finalize negotiations in the Second Quarter
with a further group of prospective clients. McKay's mandate will
be to focus on these new contracts and ensure the company's track
record of successful implementations is maintained.
Kathryn joined Advanced in 1998, after numerous years of software
project management. With Advanced McKay oversaw training and support
services and acted as hands-on project director for software implementations.
According to McKay, "I look forward to this new role, and providing
our customers with value-added services to enhance their levels
of customer service, in a cost-effective manner."
