Arthur L. Slotkin Joins SAIC as Executive Vice President

SAN DIEGO, CA., February 26, 2001 - Arthur L. Slotkin has joined Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) as executive vice president. Slotkin will manage SAIC's sales and delivery of outsourcing services in the United States, Europe and Latin America.

Slotkin has more than 25 years of experience in managing outsourcing and information technology (IT) services. Prior tojoining SAIC, Slotkin was executive vice president and chief operating officer of PSINet Consulting Solutions. Slotkin also served as senior vice president at PSINet, where he was directly responsible for certain mergers and acquisitions activities.

From 1997 to1999, Slotkin was senior vice president of Cap Gemini America (CGA), where he led CGA's applications outsourcing division. Slotkin's responsibilities included applications operations and management, distributed computing services, help desk and server management.

Earlier, Slotkin held various management positions at AT&T Solutions, the Unisys Corporation and Unisys Defense Services.

"Art brings a wealth of experience to SAIC's IT outsourcing and commercial business areas," said Dr. J.R. Beyster, SAIC's chairman and chief executive officer. "With his active support and guidance, we will continue to develop and provide service offerings to help our current and future customers become more competitive in the marketplace."

Slotkin received a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University in 1968, and a master's degree in engineering from Columbia University in 1969. Slotkin also attended the Harvard Business School's program for Management Development in 1975.
