CAMBRIDGE, MA., January 24, 2001 - USPowerSolutions today announced it has joined Exodus Communications' (NASDAQ: EXDS) Powered by Exodus (PBE) Marketing Alliance Program. Under the agreement, USPowerSolutions "First choice for first-to-market" will leverage the Exodus® brand to co-market with other Exodus customers and partners within the community to Increase visibility and sales of its customer-centric, enterprise wide solutions for the deregulated marketplace.

As a member of the PBE program, USPowerSolutions joins a select group of Exodus customers that will benefit from interactive marketing support and resources that Exodus reserves specifically for them. USPowerSolutions will leverage its alliance with Exodus to achieve increased brand recognition among Fortune 1000 companies and high level decision-makers, expand brand awareness to a global reach, enhance credibility and status as a market leader, and gain additional marketing resources to Increase visibility of its solutions for the deregulating energy marketplace. Additionally, USPowerSolutions participation in Exodus' PBE program will enable it to strategically align itself with companies representing over 40 percent of today's Web sites* and build relationships within Exodus' extensive network of industry alliances and PBE members.
