Bill Presentment and Payment Services to Alameda Power & Telecom
SAN ANTONIO, TX, November 14, 2000 - billserv.com, Inc.

service bureau, today announced it has signed a long-term agreement
to provide an electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) system
for Alameda Power & Telecom, (Alameda), a department of the
City of Alameda, that will allow Alameda todistribute its customers'
bills via the Internet within the next several months.
The new EBPP system will enable Alameda Power & Telecom's customers
toview and pay their bills at a variety of front-ends such as banks,
portals and billing aggregation sites including bills.com, billserv's
own bill payment portal. billserv.com currently has agreements with
every major billing consolidator including CheckFree, TransPoint,
Bank of America, Spectrum, MasterCard RPPS, Paytrust, CyberBills,
and BillingZone, giving companies and customers a wide selection
of Web sites to Deliver, view, pay, and manage bills.
billserv.com's end-to-end EBPP solution will include processing
Alameda Power & Telecom's customer billing data, delivering
it to Billing consolidators, and then processing customer payments
back toAlameda.
