Hydro One Implements Excelergy eXACT to Support Transaction and Trading Partner Management in the Canadian Market
Ontario's Largest Electric Utility Implements New Technology in Preparation for Deregulation

LEXINGTON, MA and TORONto, ONTARIO, CANADA, October 30, 2000 -  Excelergy Corporation, a provider of leading e-infrastructure technology solutions for the retail energy industry, announced today that Hydro One, one of the largest electricity delivery companies in Ontario, has implemented the Excelergy eXACT™ solution set to provide primary data transaction and trading partner communications management.

The eXACT solution implemented for Hydro One is fully compliant with Ontario Energy Board's mandated Electronic Business Transaction (EBT) standards.
