Denese Van Dyne Joins Peace
Software as VP of Marketing
New marketing vice president
tasked with communicating Peace Software's competitive edge to
energy retailers worldwide
ATLANTA, GA., October 18, 2000 - Peace Software, a global
provider of e-Business solutions for retail energy companies, today
announced the appointment of Denese D. Van Dyne to vice president
of marketing. Van Dyne is charged with the strategic marketing of
Peace Software as the leader in integrated customer and commodity
management solutions for the expanding retail energy market worldwide

Van Dyne has an extensive marketing background in the IT industry,
including such positions as product marketing manager at Hewlett-Packard
Company and vice president of industry relations at Sterling Software.
Most recently, Van Dyne was vice president of global marketing for
Landmark Graphics Corporation, a leading supplier of decision-making
software and services for the exploration and production of oil
and gas. During her time at Landmark, Van Dyne developed integrated
marketing and sales programs that grew revenue from $125 million
to$300+ million in three years. She integrated marketing operations
from 15 acquired companies in 84 countries and led a company initiative
to transform its software/services operation into an e-Business,
including Web-based personalized sites, ASP capabilities, e-Commerce
and on-line services.
Van Dyne graduated with a BA in technical journalism from Colorado
State University in Fort Collins, Colo, and is an award-winning
marketer and writer.
