ATLANTA, GA., August 9, 2000 - Peace Software International today announced that Dominion Retail, a subsidiary of the largest fully integrated gas and electric power company in the United States, has selected Peace's Energy software for energy customer management (ECM). Based in Pittsburgh, Pa., the energy retailer provides natural gas and electricity, as well as a variety of products and services, to residential and small commercial customers.

An ambitious expansion strategy underpins Dominion Retail's decision to deploy the Energy system. The company plans to extend its stronghold in the Mid-Atlantic region over the next two to three years. To achieve this customer growth plan, Dominion Retail required a superior, e-commerce energy customer management (ECM) solution capable of rapid, scalable market entry. A rapid deployment of the Energy system is planned, with an initial Go Live targeted for December.
