TelePath Selected by the City of
Charleston Public Works to Automate Swamped Call Center
Telephony and Internet company
adds to its strong track record in the utilities market
Englewood, Colorado - July 26, 2000, The City of Charleston
Commissioner of Public Works, a water and sewer authority that maintains
86,000 water customers and 35,000 sewer accounts, has named Frank
Solutions, Inc. To implement the TelePath Interactive Voice Response
(IVR) and Telephony system in their Call Center. The move to automate
the utility's customer service operations will greatly help to Handle
the 800 calls (on average) that the utility's operators handle daily.
"My interest was in trying to find someone with a proven track
record in Utilities," said the utility's Director of Operations
Support Frank Crawford. "Frank Solutions had worked extensively
with Utilities and I recognized the value of dealing with someone
who has a working system and successful field experience."
FSI's TelePath solution, slated for installation by Sept. 1st,
will provide a complete Customer Relationship Management platform
for the Charleston Public Works. TelePath will encompass Interactive
Voice Response, Interactive Web Response, and Computer Telephony
for the customer service department and Call Center. The system
will be implemented as a fully redundant solution residing on three
Windows NT servers, and will support 48 telephone lines. With the
redundant architecture, there will be no single point of failure
for any of the Telephony applications.
