Ward Camp as Vice President of Industry Alliances and Regulatory
Strategy
CAMBRIDGE, MA., July 25, 2000 - USPowerSolutions, a leading
B2B Service Provider in e-commerce technology for the deregulated
energy industry, today announces that H. Ward Camp has joined the
company as VP of Industry Alliances and Regulatory Strategy.
After receiving a BA and law degree from the University of Oklahoma,
Mr. Camp focused his attention on the utility industry acquiring
extensive experience in regulatory processes for competitive electric
and gas services. Mr. Camp comes toUSPowerSolutions from Avistar,
Inc. where, as the Vice President, he was responsible for Regulatory
Strategy and Strategic Alliances.
Previously, Mr. Camp was General Manager of PHASER Advanced Metering
services, directing all business unit activities. Mr. Camp practiced
law for 17 years in the natural gas industry, and acted as outside
counsel for New Mexico's largest utility for the Gas Choice program.
In his prior roles, Mr. Camp has participated in the California's
Direct Access proceedings and deregulation proceedings in Pennsylvania
and New York. He also chaired the Arizona Corporate Commission Direct
Access and Standard Offers Committee, and chaired various restructuring
workgroups in Nevada and Illinois.
