SEATTLE, WA., June 29, 2000 - ConneXt®, a Seattle-based
developer of billing and customer care solutions for regulated
and unregulated energy providers, recently promoted Randy Barnes
from senior sales executive to director of sales. Barnes will
assume responsibility for all strategic sales and account management
activities around the company's flagship product, ConsumerLinX™.

Barnes joined ConneXt in 1999 as a senior sales executive responsible
for new business development. He was also involved in building
and managing the current sales organization, including overseeing
proposal processes and product demonstrations.
Prior to joining ConneXt, Barnes spent almost 10 years in a variety
of sales, marketing and account management roles at Orcom Solutions
in Bend, Oregon. He also worked five years as a senior account
and marketing representative at Control Data Corporation in Seattle,
Washington.
