Bend, OR., May 31, 2000 - Orcom Solutions, the leading Application Service Provider (ASP) of customer care and billing solutions for the utility industry, has been named one of Oregon’s fastest-growing technology companies, according to a new ranking by Deloitte & Touche.

The 2000 Oregon Technology Fast 50 list was announced May 18 at a ceremony in Portland. The list is comprised of 50 software, hardware, Internet and telecommunications companies with rankings based on percentage revenue growth. Orcom ranked nineteenth.

"Orcom’s rapid growth in the past few years is a direct result of our growth as an Application Service Provider and reflects the growing acceptance of the ASP business model in the utility industry," said Drew Child, Orcom President and COO. The Oregon Technology Fast 50 program is one of 21 Fast 50 programs Deloitte & Touche operates in the United States, in addition to eight programs in Canada, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. To be eligible for consideration for the 2000 Oregon Technology Fast 50 list, a company must be headquartered in Oregon and have been in business a minimum of three years.

Orcom is now eligible for consideration for the Deloitte & Touche National Technology Fast 500, which will be announced in November. Fast 500 winners from 1999 included Siebel Systems, Netscape Communications and Excite@Home.
