ATLANTA, GA., January 31, 2000 - Peace Software, the leading provider of web-based customer information systems (CIS) for the deregulated utility market, today announced the appointment of Brian Jones, 33, to Eastern Region Sales Manager.  to address the deregulated market opportunity in North America and further establish its North American headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, Peace is rapidly expanding its workforce and presence in the U.S.

Prior to joining Peace, Jones was a regional sales director at SPL for two years, and spent 11+ years at Dayton Power & Light, Ohio, where he served in a variety of marketing and customer service management positions.  In his new position, Jones is responsible for sales and customer support in the Eastern U.S., and will report to Mark Board, vice president of U.S. sales for Peace Software.
