Wisconsin Public Service Corporation
Selects Enercom to Offer Online Energy Usage Information to Customers
GREEN BAY, WI., January 13, 2000 - Wisconsin Public Service
Corporation (WPSC) has chosen Enercom, an organization specializing
in Internet-based energy application gateways, to provide its Energy
DepotŪ gateways to Public Service's residential customers. The program
helps utility customers understand how they currently use energy
and what they can do to use it more efficiently. Public Service's

via the Internet," said Phil Zehren, mass market planning leader
of the Green Bay, Wisconsin-based electric and gas utility. "We
think Enercom's industry-leading software will help us in providing
programs and information for our customers." Zehren added that
WPSC chose Enercom because of the company's depth of experience
and its ability to effectively interact with the utility's systems
and staff.
Among the highlights of the energy information programs available
online, customers can:
- Complete a survey to get personal energy profiles.
- Shop for energy-efficient programs.
- Find out about electronic bill payment and presentment services
(EBPP)
- Compare rates and services of energy providers.
- Search the Energy Library or ask the Energy Advisor for answers
to energy-related questions.
