SAIC's EnerLink Division and
Rateminer Announce Strategic Relationship
Industry Leaders to
Combine Technologies for Energy Cost Information and Analysis Services
NORCROSS, GA,. December 13, 1999 - Science Applications
International Corporation's (SAIC) EnerLink division today announced
a strategic relationship with RateMiner, a Bentek subsidiary, that
will allow RateMiner to license EnerLink's rate modeling language
technology to create a national Web-based electric tariff analysis
system.
"RateMiner will leverage EnerLink's software experience in
the electric utility market and its tariff base to Deliver timely
and accurate tariff information to national energy suppliers, energy
service companies (ESCOs), and consumers," said Porter Bennett,
chief executive officer of RateMiner.
"Using EnerLink's technology, RateMiner will provide the comprehensive
tariff database and analysis tools needed for success in the competitive
gas and power retail marketplace."
