SPL WorldGroup Appoints Eileen Basho
as Executive Vice President and President of SPL WorldGroup Industry
Solutions
SAN FRANCISCO, CA., - October 19, 1999 - SPL WorldGroup,
Inc. (SPL), a leading international provider of information technology
consulting and enterprise solutions, announced today the appointment
of Eileen Basho as Executive Vice President and President of SPL
WorldGroup Industry Solutions division. In her new role, Eileen
will manage SPL's software operations group focusing on its utilities
offering. She will be directly responsible for global product strategy
and development, customer support, sales, consulting, and partner
strategy.
SPL chief executive officer and president, Moshe Mor, comments,
"Eileen brings to SPL a background rich in enterprise applications
as well as consulting. We are confident her expertise and leadership
skills will direct SPL's Industry Solutions into the forefront of
the enterprise applications industry."
Formerly, as a partner at Andersen Consulting she was responsible
for the Global Change Management practice of the firm's Enterprise
Business unit. She led the strategic offering and market direction
for Enterprise Business Solutions - a line of business comprised
of more than 6,000 consultants. She was also responsible for the
development of programs that support the company's strategic vision
of providing a full range of business integration services to the
enterprise application market.
Prior to andersen, Eileen made significant contributions to SAP
America, Inc. during the company's early development stages. In
her four years at SAP, Eileen rose to the position of Executive
Vice President where she led all of SAP's Professional Services
and grew it to a 2,000-person operation with revenues of $600 Million.
Eileen came to SAP as the former CIO of a medium-sized manufacturing
company where she was responsible for the successful completion
of one of the first SAP implementations in North America.
In response to what attracted her to SPL, Eileen said, "SPL

for CIS PLUS is emerging in the utilities industry, but I see this
product's potential as not only dominating this niche, but becoming
a market leader in the CIS space."
