Teldata Develops New Corporate Identification
Program
CHICAGO, IL., October 10, 1999 - As part of a
new corporate identity program since its recent acquisition by the
National Grid Group plc, Teldata Inc. is now referred to as Teldata
Solutions. The new name announced at the AMRA Symposium in Reno,
Nevada more accurately reflects the direction of the company. Additionally,
a new logo, signifying universal solutions, is accompanied by the
theme statement: "The difference between metering and managing."
According to Teldata Solutions President and CEO, Mr. Graham Nicoll,
"Teldata has for a long time been recognized as a major metering
provider, and this was a fine image to have back when metering was
the focal point of the marketplace. But now that Teldata's technology
has evolved, it's time to Move beyond the meter. It's time we as
a company started to talk about the complete set of tools we offer
and our abilities in application engineering. We have the ability
to show our customers how to capture load data in all of its unlimited
configurations, enabling them to at last make informed decisions,
enabling them to act now to Reduce energy-related costs, compete
more effectively, and plan for the future."
According to Mr. Nicoll, the company's expertise in the realms
of Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), Customer Information Systems (CIS),
and Energy Data Solutions (EDS), are strengths the marketplace has
yet to learn about.
