Citizens Water Resources Implements
SCT’s Banner® Customer Management System in Four Facilities
Citizens now utilizes Banner
to serve more than 200,000 customers
MALVERN, PA, June 10, 1999 – SCT (Nasdaq:SCTC) announced
today that Citizens Water Resources’ Illinois customer management
and fulfillment system is now fully operational utilizing the SCT
Banner Customer Management System.
The Pennsylvania, Ohio and Illinois facilities were all brought
into production within three months — less than half the industry
standard time. Now with the addition of Illinois, Citizens Water
Resources, a division of Citizens Utilities (NYSE: CZN, CZNPr) utilizes
SCT Banner CMS to serve more than 200,000 customers.
Banner CMS features help increase efficiencies of customer contacts,
streamline and simplify information retrieval, decrease CSR response
time and increase billing accuracy and timeliness.

comprehensive, customer management and fulfillment system that is
effective for offering multiple services in multiple locations for
break-through business results,” said Bill Mahoney, president of
SCT Utility Systems, a business unit of SCT.
Citizens Water Resources has been a client since 1986 and has now
successfully upgraded to SCT Banner from SCT REACT, a legacy customer
information system for the gas, water, sewer, and solid waste markets.
This demonstrates SCT's commitment to moving clients forward to
new technologies and fulfilling the promise of research and development
investment.
The SCT technology reinvestment strategy provides clients with
migration paths and support services that are ahead of the curve
in industry and regulatory issues designed to meet the changing
needs of deregulation.
