Utility Systems, Inc., a division of Systems & Computer Technology
Corporation (SCT) (Nasdaq:SCTC) and Teldata, Inc.(Teldata)
announced today the signing of a software marketing and sublicensing
agreement that will provide a total information technology package
for small to mid-size and municipal utilities. Teldata is
a leader in strategic metering systems and utility information technology
for electric, gas and water utilities and their customers. SCT Utility
Systems, Inc. specializes in utility billing and financials software
and customer information systems.
The agreement establishes Teldata as the main marketing channel
for SCT's utility Billing/CIS/Financials in the small to mid-size
and municipal utility markets. "The combination of our MeterSentry®
automatic meter reading (AMR) technology with SCT's Billing/CIS/Financials
package creates a product offering utilizing the best of breed'
