Elizabethtown Water Company Taps into Utility Business Services' WINS/2 Product to keep Its Information Flowing

UNION, NJ., February 3, 1998 - Utility Business Services, Inc. (UBS), a subsidiary of NUI Corporation (NYSE:NUI), has announced that Elizabethtown Water Company of Westfield, NJ has chosen UBS' WINS/2 product as its customer information system for the next millennium. Elizabethtown Water Company signed a contract with UBS on January 16, 1998.

Elizabethtown Water Company, a subsidiary of E'town Corporation (NYSE:Etown), serves approximately 207,000 customers in 54 New Jersey communities. Edward F. Cash, Elizabethtown's vice president of customer services, explained that the utility recently determined that it required a new customer information system to maximize its account management and billing efforts.

"We selected WINS/2 after a review of our business processes and a careful study of CIS products in the marketplace," he said. "Clearly, this product, and the UBS staff that supports it, offers Elizabethtown Water Company the means to accomplish our objectives."

UBS developed WINS/2 to Offer clients a full-featured system to Enhance their CIS capabilities. It can be packaged as either an outsourced service or a software application residing at the client utility's processing site, according to UBS vice president Robert L. Williams.
